Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions are entered into by and between you and Emma Franklin of The Canine Separation Anxiety Consultant upon payment. The following terms and conditions, govern your participation in the Separation anxiety services offered by the provider.
Please take the time to read the terms and conditions, as they include a release of waiver of any right you may ever have to claim any damages for loss, injury, or death from Emma Franklin of The Canine Separation Anxiety Consultant.
By enrolling in any of the services provided by Emma Franklin at the Canine Separation Anxiety Consultant, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these terms as well as those outlined in the privacy policy.
Separation Anxiety Services Overview –
8 & 12 week 1-1 training programmes include –
· Client intake form
· Initial assessment zoom call
· Zoom check in
· 5 personalised training plans
· Video reviews with feedback
· Whatsapp support
In order for progress to occur it is essential that you fully engage and commit to the programme and training advice provided.
It is also essential to suspend all absences outside of dedicated training sessions. Improvement is not guaranteed, and due to the uniqueness of each individual case timescales for progress milestones can not be given.
Please note, any session can be rearranged with 48 business hours’ notice. After this time, you will still be charged. This applies, even in exceptional circumstances. For virtual live calls, arrival to a sessions more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered a ‘’no-show’’ and the session will be counted as used, and still be charged. Regardless of starting time, all sessions will end at the predetermined end time. Any extended pauses in training (more than 2 days) must be approved in advance.
It is your responsibility to submit videos for review and all videos must be easily accessible.
In regard to Whatsapp support and email communication all correspondence will be responded to within reasonable working hours, those messages sent outside of these hours will be responded to the following day.
Use of aversive tools are not permitted and must not be used during your participation in our separation anxiety services (aversive tools include, but are not limited to, shock collars, choke collars, citronella/spray collars, beep/buzzer collars, or shake cans).
Participation in any of the services provided by The Separation Anxiety Consultant (Emma Franklin) may or may not include the use of a third-party application/software and we may change the platform/software used to deliver the services at any time.
Advice provided by The Separation Anxiety Consultant (Emma Franklin) should not be considered to be medical advice for you or your dog. In order to help clients achieve their goals we may provide food and/or nutrition suggestions, but these are suggestions only and are not intended to cure any disease or condition for you or your dog. It is your responsibility as the client and owner of the dog to carry out personally research and discuss any changes with the dog’s health care provider. It is also your responsibility as owner to consult with a qualified veterinary or health care provider before and/or during the training programme to ensure your dog is fit and healthy, and there are no risk or factors that may contribute towards your dog’s inability to progress through the training programme.
Payment
All services must be pre-paid in full and are non-refundable. A payment on any new services renews this agreement, along with any updates or changes to the agreement. We may update this agreement and/or increase rates at any time, except for those rates included in your current agreement.
Cancellation and rescheduling
When required scheduled live sessions must be cancelled and/or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance, except in cases of emergencies and/or illness. If we believe cancellations or reschedules are excessive, we reserve the right to cancel any future reserved time slots and/or cancel your remaining services.
Refunds
All fees paid by clients under this agreement are immediately earned by us, and are non-refundable, unless specifically stated in the agreement. If entitled to a refund, such refund will be limited to prepaid and unused dues, less any credit/debit card processing fees we may have incurred. We reserve the right to terminate the use of our services for any reason, unless such termination would be prohibited by law. Termination is effective on the date we email a written notice of termination to your last known email address. As the client you are liable for all financial obligations incurred up until the date of termination, and you will not be reimbursed for session that went unused in an expired programme.
Proprietary rights
The materials provided to you by The Separation Anxiety Consultant (Emma Franklin) are for your personal use only, and you may not distribute them to any third parties without prior written consent from The Separation Anxiety Consultant (Emma Franklin).
Online sessions are recorded. Additionally, you have the option to send us recorded videos, pictures or other media that you make. In such an event, The Canine Separation Anxiety Consultant (Emma Franklin) is not responsible for redacting any personal identifying information on said media. Any media that you the client sends to us will be stored by us on a computer, external hard drives, and/or third party filesharing services, and you agree that we may utilise such media for the purpose of the services we provide. This may include emailing the media to you, our clients, sharing via third-party filesharing services, and editing the media.
Unforeseen circumstances
You understand that during the time in which we are scheduled to work together, unforeseen circumstances can occur that many result in a delay or halt to the training programme. Unforeseen circumstances that may delay or halt training include, but are not limited to dog-related health, illness, injury or behaviour issues, staffing limitations, issues with third-party software, and/or any other reason that is not the fault of the company. You should expect to be notified as soon as reasonably possible of any unforeseen circumstances and potential delay. The company shall have no liability for any such delay, or termination of agreement, on account of unforeseen circumstances.
Disclaimer
As the owner you understand that dog training can pose a risk of injury. You are to ensure that necessary steps are taken at all times to prevent injury, to your dog, yourself, the general public and other animals. Owners agree to indemnify and hold unaccountable The Canine Separation Anxiety Consultant (Emma Franklin) against any and all losses, liabilities, judgements, and costs (including legal fees and expenses) arising out of, or related to, any claim of injury to persons or property of any kind, whether before, during, or after the programme, and when implementing suggested techniques with your dog.
Behaviour
It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards other is polite and respectful. Should you behaviour be deemed to be offensive or inappropriate, we reserve the right to remove you from the programme with immediate effect.
