Who This Training Is Designed For

What to Expect from the Complete Support Programme

  • The first step is to book a free, no-obligation call.

This is a relaxed conversation where we talk about your dog, what happens when they are left, what you have tried so far, and how things are feeling for you right now.

It is a space to ask questions, understand what separation anxiety training really involves, and decide whether this level of support feels right for you.

  • Before we begin training, you will complete a detailed behaviour questionnaire.

This is your opportunity to tell me more about you and your dog. Their history, daily routine, how they respond when left, and anything that might be influencing their anxiety.

It helps me understand the full picture so I can begin considering the individual factors that will shape your dog’s training plan.

  • We begin the Complete Support Programme with a dedicated assessment Zoom call.

This is where we look more closely at your dog’s current comfort levels and gently assess what they are able to cope with right now. It also gives us space to talk things through in more depth and make sure you feel confident about where we are starting.

Everything we learn during this call becomes the foundation of your dog’s personalised training plan, built around their emotional needs and your real life.

  • No two dogs experience separation anxiety in exactly the same way, so your training plans are always tailored specifically to your dog.

Together, we will gently and gradually build up the time they feel comfortable being left. Progress is thoughtful and structured, never rushed.

We will also consider any outside factors that could influence their anxiety, so we are supporting the whole dog, not just the moments you leave.

Along the way, you will learn how to read your dog’s body language and truly understand what their signals mean. That insight becomes one of the most valuable parts of this process.

By the end, you will not only see progress in your dog, you will feel confident in your ability to support them independently moving forward.

  • You are supported every step of the way.

Your programme includes a dedicated Zoom check-in where we review progress in detail, talk through any challenges, and adjust the plan if needed.

Every training session you complete is personally reviewed by me. You will receive clear, practical feedback so you always know what is going well and what to focus on next.

And in between, you have WhatsApp support. Whether you need reassurance, a quick question answered, or guidance when something feels uncertain, you are not left figuring it out alone.

This level of support is what keeps progress steady and prevents you from feeling overwhelmed.

  • By the end of the programme, you will not only see progress in your dog, you will feel confident in your ability to continue supporting them independently.

You will understand their signals, know how to move training forward safely, and feel far less uncertain about what to do next.

And our work does not have to end there. Continued support is always available, and I genuinely love staying in touch with past clients. Hearing about your dog’s ongoing progress and the freedom you have both gained is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Investment

The Complete Support Programme is a 12-week structured programme, delivered as 3 monthly payments of £225.

This includes personalised training plans, video reviews of every session, Zoom calls, and ongoing WhatsApp support throughout.

A 12-week commitment allows us to create meaningful, lasting change rather than short-term improvement.

You are investing in structured guidance, consistent expert support, and a clear plan that helps both you and your dog move forward with confidence.

Why the Programme Is 12 Weeks

Separation anxiety doesn’t improve overnight, and quick fixes often make things worse.

A 12-week structure gives your dog the time they need to feel safe and build confidence, while giving you the support and guidance to feel capable every step of the way.

It allows for:

  • Gradual, steady progress without overwhelm

  • Adjustments to your dog’s unique needs and comfort levels

  • Real learning so you can continue supporting your dog long after the programme ends

This timeframe is designed to create lasting change and give you peace of mind that the progress you make is sustainable.

By the end of the programme, you will:

✔ Have laid solid foundations for helping your dog feel safer when left alone

✔ Understand your dog’s emotional responses and early stress signals

✔ Feel confident continuing training with a clear plan in place

✔ Experience greater peace of mind knowing you are training in the right way

This structured, evidence-based approach prioritises emotional safety and steady progress, setting you and your dog up for long-term success.

What You Can Expect From This Programme

Why This Programme Works

My programme succeeds because it is:

Structured and progressive – Clear steps that build your dog’s confidence consistently.

Compassionate and dog-centred – Focused on your dog’s emotional wellbeing at every stage.

Tailored specifically to your dog – A personalised plan that adapts to their needs.

Fully supported – Daily guidance, expert review of every session, and emotional support so you never feel alone.

This is the clear, consistent approach separation anxiety truly needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Separation anxiety is a fear-based condition where a dog becomes distressed when left alone or separated from a particular person.

You can read more about separation anxiety, and signs that a dog is experiencing separation anxiety in the blog post linked here.

  • Every dog is different, so there’s no set timeline for overcoming separation anxiety. The goal of training is to change your dog’s emotional response to being left alone, and that takes time, consistency, and patience.

During our time working together, we’ll focus on laying strong foundations and helping you understand the key principles that will set you and your dog up for long-term success.

  • According to the RSPCA, up to 80% of dogs may experience some degree of anxiety when left alone, and there are many reasons why this can happen.

Some dogs may have a genetic predisposition to anxiety, while others are affected by early life experiences, such as:

    • Maternal stress during pregnancy

    • The mother’s behaviour towards the litter

    • Limited or negative experiences of being alone

A dog’s physical health can also have a significant impact. Pain, discomfort, or underlying medical issues can increase anxiety levels and make it more difficult for a dog to cope with being alone. For this reason, it’s important to consult with your vet before beginning any training.

While the cause may vary from dog to dog, the treatment process remains the same. We use a gradual, structured training plan to help your dog feel safe, confident, and relaxed when left alone

  • The idea of not leaving your dog alone at all during training can feel overwhelming, but it’s a vital part of the process. For your dog to build confidence and feel safe when alone, they need to experience only positive or neutral alone-time moments. If they continue to be left for longer than they can handle, the fear response is repeatedly triggered, and that slows or even reverses progress.

The good news is, this step is temporary. And there are plenty of ways to make it work, even with a busy schedule. Options include:

    • Trusted friends or family looking after your dog

    • Dog day care (if appropriate for your dog’s temperament)

    • Professional dog sitters

    • Dog walkers who can offer companionship

    • Bringing your dog along when possible

If you're unsure how to make this work in your daily life, I can help. During your free Pre-Training Consultation, we’ll explore practical options that fit your dog and your lifestyle

  • You’re not alone. Many dog owners come to me after trying countless tips, videos, or generic training plans that just didn’t help.

The difference with this programme is that it’s completely tailored to your individual dog. Separation anxiety training isn’t one-size-fits-all, every dog has a different starting point, a different tolerance level, and different triggers.

Rather than following a generic approach, we’ll work together to create a personalised, step-by-step plan based on your dog’s specific needs and progress. You’ll receive:

    • Daily training plans based on your dog’s performance

    • Expert video reviews to guide each next step

    • Ongoing support so you're never left guessing what to do next

By focusing on your dog’s unique journey, we give them the best possible chance of real, lasting change

  • Separation anxiety training is most effective when delivered virtually, and here’s why:

    • Less stress for your dog: A trainer visiting your home could cause added anxiety or excitement, which makes it harder to assess your dog’s true behaviour when alone.

    • More realistic training: Your dog learns best in their normal routine. With no trainer physically present, we can observe how they respond to your typical departures without external influence.

    • Greater flexibility: Remote training allows you to work at times that suit your schedule and when your dog is most likely to succeed. No travel, no disruption, just calm, consistent progress from the comfort of your home.

With expert guidance, video reviews, and regular check-ins, you’ll still feel fully supported every step of the way, just without the added stress for you or your dog.

  • By the end of your programme, you’ll have a solid understanding of the process and clear guidance on how to continue building your dog’s confidence. Many clients continue on their own with confidence, and I’m always here if you need further support.
